Check out these fascinating LEGO facts, below&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> LEGO&#8217;s founder,\u00a0<strong>Ole Kirk Christiansen<\/strong>, created the name &#8220;LEGO&#8221; from taking the first two letters of the Danish words<strong>\u00a0LEG GODT<\/strong>, meaning &#8220;<strong>play well<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> If you put the\u00a0<strong>340 million Minifigures<\/strong>\u00a0produced last year next to each other in a line, it would stretch a whopping\u00a0<strong>7,900\u00a0km<\/strong> \u2013 that&#8217;s almost the distance from\u00a0<strong>London<\/strong>, UK to<strong> Beijing<\/strong>, China!<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> The famous LEGO brick that we play with today is more than\u00a0<strong>50 years old<\/strong>. The bricks made way back in\u00a0<strong>1958<\/strong>\u00a0will still fit perfectly with those you play with today!<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. <\/strong>The moulds used to produce LEGO bricks are accurate to within\u00a0<strong>two-thousandth of a millimetre<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>0.002 mm!<\/strong>). Because of this high degree of accuracy, there are only around\u00a0<strong>18 bricks<\/strong>\u00a0in every million produced that fail to meet the company&#8217;s high quality standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> The world&#8217;s tallest<strong>\u00a0LEGO tower<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0<strong>28.7m<\/strong> high. It was made from <strong>465,000<\/strong>\u00a0bricks!<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>LEGO Minifigures<\/strong>\u00a0are the world&#8217;s largest population, with over\u00a0<strong>4 billion<\/strong>\u00a0of them around the world!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><strong>7.<\/strong> During the Christmas season almost\u00a0<strong>28 LEGO sets are sold each second<\/strong>. Yikes!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.<\/strong> At LEGO attractions, such as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.legolanddiscoverycentre.co.uk\/manchester\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester<\/strong><\/a>, people are hired as &#8220;<strong>Master Model Builders<\/strong>&#8220;. Cool job!<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.<\/strong> Laid end to end, the number of LEGO bricks sold in a year would reach more than\u00a0<strong>five times round the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10.<\/strong> On average there are\u00a0<strong>80 LEGO bricks<\/strong>\u00a0for every person on earth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">Wow!
