1)<\/strong> One million Earths<\/strong> could fit inside the Sun<\/strong> – and the Sun is considered an average-size star.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong>\u00a0For years it was believed that Earth<\/a> was the only planet in our Solar System with liquid water<\/strong>. But some studies have shown that there may once have been running water on Mars<\/a><\/strong>, too!<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong>\u00a0Comets<\/a><\/strong> are leftovers from the creation of our solar system about 4.5 billion years ago<\/strong>. They consist of sand<\/strong>, ice<\/strong> and carbon dioxide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> You wouldn’t be able to walk on Jupiter<\/strong>, Saturn<\/strong>, Uranus<\/strong> or Neptune<\/strong>, because they have no solid surface<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

5)<\/strong>\u00a0If you could fly a plane to Pluto<\/strong>, the trip would take more than 800 years<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

7)<\/strong>\u00a0An asteroid<\/strong> about the size of a car enters Earth\u2019s atmosphere roughly once a year – but it burns up<\/strong> before it reaches us. Phew!<\/p>\n

8)<\/strong> There’s a huge mountain<\/strong> on an asteroid called Vesta<\/strong>. Measuring a whopping 22km<\/strong> in height, it is three times as tall as Mount Everest<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
