Well, in December 2022, a couple from <strong>Derbyshire, England <\/strong>saw something extraordinary &#8211; a <strong>fox with just two legs<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phil<\/strong> and <strong>Jane Carter<\/strong> spotted the agile creature in their back garden. Check out the astonishing footage&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" controls src=\"https:\/\/cdn.creatureandcoagency.com\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TwoLegFox-MUTE-COMPRESSED.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The fox was probably looking for food like <strong>worms<\/strong> or <strong>berries<\/strong> in the grass, using its <strong>brush <\/strong>(tail) to help <strong>balance <\/strong>on its two legs. Experts have <strong>never seen anything like it<\/strong> in the wild before!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TV wildlife expert <strong>Mike Dilger<\/strong> thinks the fox was <strong>born <\/strong>with <strong>only its front legs<\/strong> &#8211; so it&#8217;s likely had the <strong>disability<\/strong> all its life. As it looks <strong>healthy<\/strong>, the two-legged fox must have found ways to <strong>adapt<\/strong>, hopping around and <strong>foraging<\/strong> for food. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.creatureandcoagency.com\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TwoLeggedFox-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"635\" height=\"404\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.creatureandcoagency.com\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TwoLeggedFox-1.jpg\" alt=\"two-legged fox on a lawn \" class=\"wp-image-285021\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.creatureandcoagency.com\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TwoLeggedFox-1.jpg 635w, https:\/\/cdn.creatureandcoagency.com\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TwoLeggedFox-1-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Phil and Jane have nicknamed the fox <strong>&#8216;Flexi&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Since the film was taken, Phil and Jane haven&#8217;t seen the two-legged fox again. But Phil has put up some <strong>mounted cameras<\/strong> in the garden, so if it does come back, they&#8217;ll spot it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Teachers! It&#8217;s best <strong>not to feed them<\/strong>, as their <strong>broad diet <\/strong>means they won&#8217;t be short of food. Also, it&#8217;s safer for them to not become <em>too <\/em><strong>trusting <\/strong>of humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Learn about other British garden wildlife!
