In the new adventure\u00a0Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle<\/em><\/strong>, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of a computer game!<\/p>\n

What’s the nitty, gritty?<\/h2>\n

When they discover an old video game console with a game they\u2019ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game\u2019s jungle setting and into the bodies of their avatars.<\/p>\n

What’s an avatar?<\/h2>\n

An avatar is an icon or figure representing a particular person in a video game or on the internet for instance.<\/p>\n

What happens when they are inside the game?<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s there they discover that you don\u2019t just play Jumanji, Jumanji plays you.\u00a0 They\u2019ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they\u2019ll be stuck in the game forever\u2026<\/p>\n

Who are some of the characters?<\/h2>\n

Alex:<\/strong> Unlike the other teens, Alex has been stuck in the game since 1996! His weakness \u2013 mosquitos!<\/p>\n

Dr. Smolder Bravestone: <\/strong>He’s fearless, fast and he’s a great climber. His weakness \u2013 he has none!<\/p>\n

Martha: <\/strong>Martha used to feel invisible at school even though she was seriously smart. In the game, she finds herself inside the body of Ruby Roundhouse.<\/p>\n

Dr. Shelley Oberon: <\/strong>Otherwise known as “Curvy Genius,” his main strengths are cartography, archeology and paleontology.<\/p>\n

Fridge: <\/strong>Anthony Johnson is nicknamed “Fridge” for his trademark height and overall largeness. In Jumanji, he finds himself as Franklin “Moose” Finbar and without the athletic body he is used to.<\/p>\n
