This spring, two beautiful snow leopards will be welcomed into their specially designed new home at Chester Zoo \u2013 and guess what? Your awesome artwork could be on display there with them… <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snow leopards in the wild <\/strong>are in trouble <\/strong>\u2013 habitat loss<\/strong>, poaching <\/strong>and conflict with farmers <\/strong>mean their population is declining<\/strong>, fast<\/strong>. One of the biggest threats that will affect them is climate change<\/strong>. Sadly, their snowy Himalayan habitat <\/strong>is warming at THREE TIMES the global average<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Chester Zoo <\/strong>want to give these big cats a brighter future<\/strong>. Right now, they\u2019re busy recreating <\/strong>the big cats\u2019 rugged mountainous home <\/strong>at the zoo. And When the new residents move in, it\u2019s hoped they\u2019ll have cubs <\/strong>and will help save the species from extinction<\/strong>. Epic!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
