Follow a family trail, walk on 2000-year-old pavements, meet a Roman character, listen to a children’s audioguide, get hands on with our exhibits, drop in to a free craft workshop (weekdays).

Real Roman treasures

Explore the 2000-year-old Roman bathing pools, sauna, gym, temple and ancient engineering. The award-winning museum includes the curse tablets, the awe-inspiring gilt-bronze head of goddess Minerva, temple pediment featuring the gorgon’s head, large hoard of coins and many more objects which explore day-to-day Roman life.
