Win a trip to uncover Treasure!
3 January 2026
What do you think of when you hear the term “buried treasure”?
Is it sparkling jewels and hoards of gold? Or Roman secrets and Viking relics? The Museum of Liverpool is inviting you to uncover it all at its new exhibition, Treasure: History Unearthed. It’s the largest exhibition of archaeological treasure ever displayed in the North West!
Blending history, science, and storytelling, the exhibition offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore some of the most remarkable finds in local history, while uncovering the people, places and moments that shaped our shared past.
Discover the amazing stories behind Roman rings, Viking silver, Medieval coins and more! These extraordinary items, found by chance and preserved with care, offer a window into lives long gone that are not so different from our own.
Treasure: History Unearthed is open at the Museum of Liverpool until 29 March 2026.
