National Geographic series Genius
This series will change the way we view Einstein!

Genius is a show that explores the turbulent journey of the physicist who would grow to become the icon: Albert Einstein. Fiercely independent, innately brilliant, eternally curious, Einstein changed the way we view the universe.

Things to do

Aimed more at your older siblings and parents, Genius will get people talking about this man’s extraordinary life. Here are some ways you can get involved…

– Einstein’s favourite subjects at school were science and maths. What do you like best at school and why?

– Einstein’s mum taught him piano and violin. The violin became an important part of his life and he particularly liked Mozart. Ask your parents to search for Mozart’s violin sonatas on the Internet.

Einstein loved playing the violin so much that he even named his instrument “Lina”!

– Einstein’s incredible breakthroughs could have been due to his ability to visualise problems. Do you find that imagining a problem in your mind helps you with a difficult question or puzzle?

– Einstein had to deal with many setbacks in his life. What helps someone pursue their dream, no matter what?

Lookalikes!

The show paints a portrait of the real Albert Einstein. Check out these actor lookalikes!
