Explore the world of AI with the Raspberry Pi Foundation

Discover AI tools with fun, free, interactive projects!

Did you know there’s an exciting world to discover with AI? Well, the Raspberry Pi Foundation is here to show you just how fascinating artificial intelligence can be with their NEW collection of Code Club Projects!

Here’s a little sneak peek of what you can find…

Chomp the Cheese

This game uses a webcam and Scratch Lab’s facial recognition tools to make a cheese chomping game you can play with your mouth. Say cheeeese!

Fish Food

A cartoon-style orange fish smiles while swimming among green leaves in blue water. Upward and downward arrows, motion lines, and AI-inspired bubbles surround the fish—a playful scene reminiscent of a Raspberry Pi Foundation project.

Train a machine learning model to recognise voice commands ‘up’, ‘down’, ‘left’, and ‘right’, and use them to control a fish in this cool game. GO fish!

True or False – AI Style!

How much do you know about AI? Take the quiz to find out just how tech savvy you are!

Quiz Answers

  • AI systems don’t have feelings: AI tools might sound friendly, but they do not feel happy, sad, or scared. It is just a computer following rules and doesn’t feel emotions like people do.
  • AI tools can make mistakes: AI systems might seem smart but they are not perfect and can get things wrong, so humans must check the output.
  • People do create AI systems: Programmers write the instructions that make AI systems work, so outputs can sometimes reflect human errors or opinions.
  • Scientists are using AI techniques to solve some of the most pressing problems, such as climate change.
  • AI applications do require lots of resources: Developers have to carefully balance the usefulness of an application against the cost to the environment.

Remember to stay safe online. Be careful with suggestions made by AI systems and talk to an adult if anything seems strange.

Colorful cartoon collage with a puzzled man, emojis, a tomato, a pear, a fish, an alien giving a thumbs up, AI symbols, a dinosaur, rats, green leaves, and various icons on a blue background inspired by the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
