BECOME A NAT GEO KIDS REPORTER FOR THE DAY!

Competition closes at 23:59 on
20 October 2021

Listen up, budding reporters!

We’ve teamed up with the Ocean Conservation Trust to offer you an incredible one-of-a-kind experience and the chance to write an exclusive report on it for Nat Geo Kids. Wow!

Two photos: the left shows a clownfish with orange, white, and black stripes swimming near pink coral; the right features a stingray gliding underwater with fish in the dark blue background—perfect for curious Nat Geo Kids reporters!.

You’ll begin your day with a visit to the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth, where you’ll encounter weird and wonderful sea creatures like sharks, octopuses and jellyfish.

Then, you’ll be whisked away by boat to the waters of Plymouth Sound where you’ll speak to experts about their incredible seagrass conservation project.

A man wearing orange gloves sorts shells on a boat by the water, looking like a Nat Geo Kids reporter; next to him is an underwater scene with a crab walking on the sandy seabed among seaweed and shells.

The scheme aims to plant eight hectares of biodiverse-rich seagrass meadows that’ll become home to all kinds of sea life, including seahorses!

Finally, you’ll write a report for Nat Geo Kids telling everyone about your amazing experience. How cool is that?

For your chance to win, all you need to do is answer the question below.

Good luck!

Prize is for one child and one adult. Up to £100 towards travel will be provided.
