Have you always wondered exactly what it would take to survive in the great outdoors?

Test your Forest Survival skills during a packed session with a Forest Ranger – the ultimate outdoor experience for up to ten people.

Every Forest Holidays location has a resident Forest Ranger, who is ready and eager to share their woodland skills and the secrets of the forest with you.

Learn how to find the best shelter location and build it, before divining the safest places to find water and lighting a fire with modern and traditional methods. Can you boil water to make some pine needle tea (or hot chocolate!) and toast your marshmallow?

Depending on the season and natural resources the Forest Rangers may also show you how to make nettle rope, or forage for wild food!

For a chance to win a Forest Ranger adventure worth £250, subscribe to National Geographic Kids using code NGK236 before 31 December 2019.
